Overview

A legal support team is seeking Claims Review Paralegals with experience in claims review to support Fortune 500 clients. This is a remote position based in the Greater Toronto area. Candidates must be fully professionally fluent in French, with strong written and spoken communication skills in both French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant policies, contracts, and legal standards.
  • Analyze complex and legacy claims, including historical files that may be incomplete, technical, or difficult to interpret.
  • Conduct detailed bilingual document review in French and English, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform discovery-related tasks such as document review, issue spotting, and organizing materials for legal proceedings.
  • Execute privilege review to identify and appropriately categorize protected or confidential documents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in claims, investigations, or employment-related work.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in document-heavy review work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive subject matters with discretion.
  • Background in legal review or claims processing.
  • Must be located in Ontario.
  • Bilingual fluency in French and English is required.
