Commercial Title Officer (Remote)

Overview

This role supports commercial real estate title operations in a fast-paced environment. You will manage key steps of the closing process—from commitment review through issuance of the final policy—for single-site and high-liability multi-site commercial real estate transactions across the United States. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Title Agents with commercial real estate transactions by assisting with:
  • Title commitment reviews
  • Ordering title and tax updates
  • Obtaining title curative matters
  • Assembling recording and transfer tax information
  • Quoting premiums
• Create and maintain files, records, and reports
• Review Buyer, Seller, and Lender transaction documents and closing instructions
• Review surveys and other due diligence items; answer exam inquiries and obtain underwriting approvals
• Prepare and revise title commitments, proformas, title policies, and endorsements
• Issue final title policies and endorsements in accordance with underwriting guidelines
• Communicate professionally with internal and external parties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3-5 years title industry experience (commercial multi-state experience preferred)
• High School diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe and MS Office (Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
• Ability to quickly learn company operating systems and new software applications and technologies (FAST experience preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills, including email and file management
• Keen attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multitask

• Ability to consistently maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $30.91 - $41.20 Hourly (Remote)

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
