Construction Litigation Attorneys

Overview

This role involves construction litigation for an immediate opening in the organization’s New York office, requiring at least three years’ experience. The position offers flexible work options, including fully remote and hybrid arrangements.

Candidates should be driven team players with strong litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills, a solid academic background, proven research capabilities, and the ability to self-start and manage assignments with minimal supervision.

Briefing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and leading written discovery efforts are required. Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in New York.

Responsibilities

• Handle construction litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Brief and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Lead written discovery efforts
• Participate in hearings, depositions, and trials (as needed)
• Provide client-facing representation and handle forward-facing client interactions
• Draft persuasive legal writing and effectively communicate positions orally

Requirements

• At least three years’ experience in construction litigation
• Licensed and admitted to practice in New York
• Excellent litigation, writing, and persuasive speaking skills
• Strong academic background
• Proven legal research skills
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience briefing and arguing motions
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience leading written discovery efforts

Pay Range

• USD $100,000.00 - USD $275,000.00 /Yr.
