Overview
Contract Attorney (Remote) opportunity to provide transactional legal support for a technology platform operating in the gig economy. This contract role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts to support scalable operations while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review commercial contracts including service agreements, terms of service, and vendor contracts.
- Negotiate contract terms to balance business objectives with legal protections.
- Ensure all agreements comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks related to contract execution and performance.
- Maintain organized contract records, tracking key dates, renewal terms, and obligations.
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in good standing with experience in transactional law.
- Strong knowledge of contract law principles including formation, interpretation, and enforcement.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating agreements in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to analyze complex legal and business issues and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
