Overview

This role supports the implementation and management of a Contract Management System to streamline contracting processes from intake through execution and inventory. Responsibilities include contract review and performance tracking, corporate entity management, board operations support, general paralegal duties, and project management assistance. The position requires collaboration across departments, particularly with compliance and finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and refine workflows for a Contract Management System to streamline contracting processes.
  • Manage contract review and performance, including processing standard agreements such as NDAs, consulting agreements, and BAAs.
  • Track post-execution obligations like reporting and renewal dates.
  • Oversee corporate entity management, including maintaining formation documents, state licenses, and qualifications.
  • Monitor due dates and file periodic reports with Secretary of State offices or equivalents.
  • Support board operations by managing communications, transmitting materials, securing signatures for resolutions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Track and renew facility licenses and permits.
  • Ensure appropriate exclusion screening for vendors and contractors.
  • Provide project management and administrative support for ongoing initiatives such as state expansion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across management and staff, especially with compliance and finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three to five years of experience as a paralegal or contracts manager.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal contract management software.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external professional interactions.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Creative and curious mindset comfortable with developing new processes.

Essential Functions & Physical Requirements

  • Work in administrative or remote environments.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, government representatives, and stakeholders via in-person, phone, and electronic systems.
  • Remain stationary or move about for extended periods as required.
  • Operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $67,000 to $90,000.

  • Potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation based on qualifications and business needs.
