Overview

A leading IT consulting and technology solutions provider is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support their Legal Department. This role involves managing contract drafting, review, negotiation, and administration, as well as providing paralegal support and general legal administrative assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, revise, and support final negotiation of various agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, subcontractor agreements, and reseller agreements.
  • Maintain contracts and corporate records for the organization and related entities.
  • Manage the approval and signature process for contracts and corporate documents.
  • Oversee the contract management system and operational guides.
  • Manage insurance requirements from clients and partners, coordinating with insurance brokers to generate certificates of insurance.
  • Handle state and local filings for the organization and related entities.
  • Maintain registrations in client and vendor portals.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Legal Department.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; paralegal certificate is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Contracts Specialist with paralegal functions or as an in-house Corporate Paralegal with strong contracts management background.
  • Experience in the technology industry is strongly preferred.
  • Public sector experience in local, state, and federal procurement is strongly preferred.
  • Focused experience on corporate matters rather than litigation.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and People & Organizational Health teams.
