Overview

An organization is seeking a Corporate Attorney with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Transactions, Business Law, and AI-driven businesses. This role involves advising clients ranging from startups to middle-market companies on legal matters related to Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, corporate governance, and business growth. The position offers full-time or part-time remote work with a W-2 employment status and includes a partner track opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on mergers & acquisitions, business formations, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other business contracts.
  • Counsel AI startups, technology companies, founders, investors, and growing businesses on corporate legal matters.
  • Stay current on emerging AI regulations, governance, privacy, and technology-related legal developments.
  • Collaborate with teams in AI, tax, wealth management, consulting, and finance to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Build and grow a personal practice with full business development, marketing, and operational support.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active U.S. Bar license.
  • Minimum of 6 years of corporate law experience.
  • Experience in M&A, corporate transactions, commercial contracts, or business law.
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence, emerging technology, and innovation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
