Overview
A boutique Life Sciences & Technology firm is seeking an experienced part-time attorney to advise startup and mid-sized clients on sophisticated corporate and transactional matters. This remote role involves approximately 20 hours per week and is suited for an experienced practitioner seeking a flexible schedule while engaging in substantive, client-facing work.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients in life sciences and technology sectors on corporate and transactional legal matters
- Structure, draft, and negotiate agreements related to banking, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, patent licensing, software licensing, or technology contracting
- Manage client relationships within a collaborative, team-oriented small-firm environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience in one or more of the following areas: banking, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, patent licensing, software licensing, or technology contracting
- Admission to practice law in New York, New Jersey, or Delaware, and in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong legal research skills with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice tailored to growth-stage companies
- Outstanding professional references

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location
