Overview
This role involves providing legal guidance and compliance counsel to support ethics and legal compliance objectives. Responsibilities include advising business and corporate teams on anti-bribery matters and the organization’s Code of Conduct, as well as supporting broader compliance and risk management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of ethics and compliance programs, policies, procedures, and training
- Provide legal advice and counsel to business and corporate teams across the U.S. and Canada on:
- the Code of Conduct
- policy governance
- anti-bribery
- antitrust
- other ethics and compliance matters
- Coordinate with Legal Department colleagues in Latin America on regional compliance matters and other cross-border initiatives
- Deliver ethics and legal compliance training; drive employee engagement and awareness campaigns to foster a culture of integrity and compliance
- Support the enterprise risk self-assessment program, including facilitating periodic risk self-assessments, supporting compliance audits and assessments as needed, and developing, tracking, and communicating compliance and risk metrics
- Coordinate ethics and compliance integration activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions, including implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and trainings
- Manage and provide recommendations in response to employee requests related to gifts/entertainment, political contributions, and other external activities
- Anticipate potential exposure and maintain awareness of legal developments and best practices in ethics and legal compliance that could impact operations in the U.S.
- Collaborate with legal and business partners to advance business priorities in a manner consistent with Core Values, the Code of Conduct, other organizational policies, and applicable laws
- Work collaboratively and effectively with Legal Department colleagues in the organization’s entities across the Americas to align on consistent approaches, policies, and best practices
- Anticipate, research, and communicate legal issues that could impact the organization
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited Law School
- 4+ years of in-house, law firm and/or regulatory agency experience in ethics and compliance
- Ability to travel approx 25%

- Prior experience building and managing compliance programs

Pay range (Minnesota): $113,800.00 - $193,900 + 20% bonus in Minnesota. The range shown reflects pay for the job grade; individual pay depends on factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
