Overview
Contract Corporate Lawyer position focused on corporate, commercial, and M&A legal work. This role is remote with an estimated 10–40 hrs/week commitment. Compensation is $90–$150/hour.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze corporate, commercial, and M&A documents for accuracy and compliance with US law.
- Draft, review, and provide feedback on contracts and agreements, reflecting best practices in corporate law.
- Translate complex legal concepts into clear explanations suitable for AI system development.
- Identify and summarize key legal issues and trends in business transactions.
- Contribute legal scenarios and document samples to enhance AI training datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify deliverables and address corporate law topics.
Requirements
- Minimum experience in corporate, business, or transactional law, including M&A and risk management.
- Experience as outside counsel, in-house corporate counsel, or legal consultant to business clients.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues.
