Overview
Position Title: Corporate Attorney
Location: Remote (US-based)
Type: Part-time
Compensation: $105,000–$125,000 per year
This role involves serving as in-house corporate counsel, providing legal advice on contracts, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives. The attorney will work closely with leadership to support high-impact business decisions and help scale the organization responsibly while managing legal risks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, and partnership agreements
- Advise internal teams on legal and regulatory issues related to new products and features
- Support corporate governance, entity maintenance, and board-related matters
- Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure legal frameworks align with operations
- Manage relationships with external counsel and optimize legal expenditures
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate, commercial, or technology transactions
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Familiarity with data privacy, consumer protection, and online marketplace legal issues
- Excellent judgment, communication skills, and a business-oriented mindset
