Overview

This role involves supporting corporate legal departments through contract engagement work as a Corporate M&A Attorney. The work focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters across a variety of industries. Prior experience working at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house with a major company is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle corporate transactional matters with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity
  • Support corporate clients on transactions across a variety of industries
  • Work under a contract engagement model, contributing expertise based on the needs of the assignment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of M&A and private equity experience
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Licensed and in good standing in state of residence
  • Prior experience working at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house with a major company is preferred
  • Outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: Annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
  • Pay basis: Contract pay is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
