Overview

A global alternative investment firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to provide coverage during a team member's leave. This role is situated within a private funds environment and focuses on corporate governance related to entity management and transaction execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the formation and maintenance of legal entities
  • Assist with transaction closings
  • Respond to Know Your Customer (KYC) and other regulatory requests related to counterparties and investments
  • Maintain and update structure charts and legal documentation to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Manage multiple workstreams involving substantive legal support and administrative coordination

Requirements

  • Experience with private fund structures, either from a large law firm with fund formation experience or in-house at an alternative investment firm
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Position Details

  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Approximately 3 months
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Work arrangement: Fully remote
  • Preferred candidates local to Denver or New York

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $52 to $57 (based on qualifications, skillset, experience, client needs, and project requirements)
