A client is seeking Criminal Lawyers to contribute to a project focused on developing innovative legal technology solutions. This role involves applying criminal law expertise to assist in training next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world legal input. No prior AI experience is required; domain knowledge in criminal law is the key qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze legal documents, court filings, and case materials to provide subject matter expertise for AI system development.
  • Draft, edit, or annotate sample legal scenarios, arguments, and opinions related to criminal law.
  • Evaluate AI-generated text for legal accuracy, clarity, and compliance with ethical standards.
  • Identify and flag nuanced legal concepts and emerging issues in criminal law to improve AI learning.
  • Collaborate remotely with project managers and technical teams to clarify requirements and deliverables.
  • Provide concise, actionable feedback on AI outputs through clear written and verbal communication.
  • Stay updated on relevant statutes, case law, and procedural changes to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law with demonstrated expertise in criminal law and procedure.
  • Extensive experience representing clients in criminal matters, either in prosecution or defense.
  • Ability to simplify complex legal concepts into clear, precise language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience reviewing, analyzing, or summarizing legal documents and case files.
  • Comfortable with remote work and collaboration using digital platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in legal technology or experience working on interdisciplinary projects is advantageous.
