Overview

An organization is seeking an e-Discovery/Document Review Attorney to support a major Am Law 100 law firm client on a document review project related to mass tort litigation. This is a contract, part-time, fully remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct document review for large e-discovery projects
  • Support mass tort, class action, and/or products liability litigation matters
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience on large e-discovery projects
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
  • Familiarity with document review platforms such as Relativity
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Outstanding professional references
  • Experience with mass tort, class action, and/or products liability litigation is highly preferred

Position Details

  • Role type: Contract/Engagement
  • Schedule: Part-time (10-15 hours per week)
  • Location: Fully remote

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay range (full-time equivalent): $70,000 to $100,000
  • Pay is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market conditions, and candidate preferences
  • Contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage
  • Typically W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
  • Benefits include Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), and a qualified 401(k) plan
  • Benefits-eligible attorneys receive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and professional expense stipends
