Overview
A national eDiscovery service provider is seeking attorneys actively licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction for temporary Document Reviewer positions. This role involves reviewing documents for complex litigation matters using electronic review platforms to code for relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege. The position is project-based and offers an opportunity to gain experience in the discovery process across various litigation areas.
Responsibilities
- Review and code documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege using electronic review platforms
- Participate in quality control processes
- Prepare privilege and redaction logs as needed
- Adhere to project guidelines and deadlines
Position Details
- Remote work-from-home opportunity
- Pay rate: $30 per hour
- Project duration varies from 1 week to 6 months, with potential for longer assignments
- Flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week
- Work hours between 7 AM and 7 PM Monday through Thursday; 7 AM and 5 PM on Fridays
- Overtime may be available depending on project demands
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Residency in one of the following states: DC, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, or Virginia
- Preferred experience with electronic document review platforms such as Nebula and Relativity
- Preferred experience coding documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege
- Desired experience with quality control and preparation of privilege and redaction logs
- Secure home office with high-speed internet access
- Computer running Windows 10/11 or Mac OS Ventura (13), Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15) or newer
- Apple device (iPhone or iPad) with iOS 17 or later, or Android device with Android 12 or later
- Proficiency with modern technology and remote work equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
