Overview

A legal services organization is seeking a California-licensed e-Discovery/Document Review Attorney to support an Am Law 100 law firm client on a document review project related to a commercial litigation matter. This is a contract role offering fully remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct document review and e-discovery tasks for a commercial litigation case
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Utilize e-discovery review platforms such as Relativity

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California (residence in California not required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience working on large e-discovery projects and/or investigations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Outstanding professional references
  • Experience with commercial litigation matters is preferred but not mandatory

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 on a full-time basis, with actual pay determined by experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market factors, and candidate preferences
  • Contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage
  • Typically employed as W2 employees eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week
  • Benefits include Group Life, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), and a qualified 401(k) plan
  • Benefits-eligible attorneys also receive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and professional expense stipends
