Overview
An innovative plaintiff-side employment litigation firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support a high-volume California employment litigation practice. This fully remote position is open to candidates residing in California.
Responsibilities
- Draft and manage litigation documents, including discovery, motions, mediation briefs, case summaries, and related pleadings
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of California employment litigation, from case intake through resolution
- Coordinate and manage case deadlines, discovery schedules, court filings, and litigation workflows
- Prepare, organize, and analyze case files, evidence, and supporting documentation to advance litigation strategy
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and third parties while maintaining exceptional client service
- Proactively drive cases forward by identifying next steps, managing priorities, and ensuring timely completion of litigation tasks
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of California civil litigation paralegal experience; employment litigation experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience drafting substantive litigation documents such as discovery, motions, mediation briefs, and case-related pleadings
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management, organizational, and deadline-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Prior experience working remotely and proficiency with legal technology platforms, document management systems, and virtual collaboration tools
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $85,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience, with overtime opportunities
