Overview
This role involves providing executive advisory services to General Counsel (GC) and Chief Legal Officers, as well as senior legal leaders responsible for compliance, audit, and enterprise risk management. The Executive Partner supports clients in navigating rapid changes within the legal function and their organizations, helping them assess necessary changes, manage risks, achieve goals, and operate with greater assurance of success. The position offers the opportunity to deliver solutions addressing critical legal, governance, and risk management challenges across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive advisory services to GC members across all industries and business models.
- Synthesize research insights and data to deliver advisory support through ongoing bi-weekly client engagement and periodic working sessions.
- Host, facilitate, and participate in member activities such as strategy development sessions, peer roundtables, annual conferences, and virtual webinars.
- Develop customized value plans by assessing member needs in alignment with overall program strategy and product deliverables.
- Facilitate member interaction and peer collaboration through community portals and assisted connections.
- Collaborate with Client Support Professionals and Account Executives to serve members effectively.
- Participate in all phases of the member lifecycle: pre-sale, onboarding, relationship management, delivery, review, and renewal.
- Partner with Research Analysts to identify gaps in content relevant to members.
- Focus on sales enablement by supporting member retention and contributing to account growth through direct support of sales associates.
- Assist sales teams in understanding the value of guided products versus self-directed products.
- Create Value Stories to help sales associates communicate service benefits.
- Partner with sales on account planning and participate in proof-of-concept engagements with prospective clients.
Requirements
- Accomplished Corporate General Counsel with experience working with the C-suite, Board of Directors, and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience as GC of public organizations with at least $1 billion in annual revenue.
- Minimum of 5+ years as a GC or top legal role within an organization and 15+ years in corporate legal environments.
- In-depth understanding of the legal function and adjacent areas such as compliance, audit, and risk.
- Experience across multiple industries is preferred to support a diverse member base.
- Law firm experience, including client relationship management and revenue generation, is highly beneficial.
- Technologically proficient, able to manage administrative tasks independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for client-ready materials.
- Consulting background is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary range: $188,000 - $225,000 USD, with actual salary dependent on education, experience, and location.
- Eligibility for annual bonus plan or role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
