Family Law Attorney (Remote)

Overview

A reputable legal firm is seeking a Senior Attorney specializing in Family Law to join their fully remote team. The firm handles sensitive and urgent matters such as domestic violence and child abductions, as well as complex asset division cases involving million-dollar incomes and multimillion-dollar marital estates. The role requires expertise in California family law and a commitment to professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including high-conflict custody cases and complex asset divisions.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Provide effective advocacy in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Work closely with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Stay current with developments in family law and related areas.

Requirements

• Strong background in family law.
• Active and good standing membership in the California State Bar.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Commitment to meeting a 1600 - 1700 billable hour requirement annually.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $175,000 - $275,000 per year.
