A law office specializing in immigration is seeking a Federal Litigation Attorney to join their team. The role involves advocating for immigrants' rights through complex federal litigation cases, with a focus on making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex federal litigation cases with expertise.
- Conduct extensive legal research and draft persuasive briefs and motions.
- Prepare meticulously for trials and oral arguments.
- Manage multiple federal litigation cases concurrently.
- Ensure timely execution and development of cases.
- Provide leadership and direction to achieve results.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state.
- Minimum of 5 years post-J.D. experience relevant to federal court litigation.
- Experience in trial advocacy, legal research, and legal writing.
- Strong understanding of federal laws, regulations, procedures, and courtroom protocol.
- Excellent analytical, research, communication, and case management skills.
- Persuasiveness and sound judgment.
- A writing sample of a legal brief or comparable legal document authored by the applicant is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in immigration or appellate law is highly desired but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.
