Full-Time Remote Legal Intake Representative

Overview

This full-time Legal Intake Representative role is remote and available to Tennessee residents only. Compensation is $16/hour.

In this position, you serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal assistance. The work involves managing a high volume of inbound calls, gathering key information, and accurately documenting inquiries to help route matters to the appropriate department.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional first impression as the primary initial point of contact for potential clients seeking legal assistance.
• Conduct empathetic, thorough conversations to gather context, missing details, and vital background information.
• Enter intake information accurately into intake management systems, maintaining high standards for spelling, grammar, and detail.
• Multi-task between phone calls and internal systems to ensure inquiries are routed correctly.
• Maintain consistent punctuality and readiness for scheduled shifts to ensure continuous client support.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong diction, flawless grammar, and precise spelling.
• Client-first mindset with a warm, professional tone of voice that demonstrates empathy and active listening.
• Fast, accurate typing skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment and basic office applications.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in a second language, especially Spanish.
• Prior customer service or call center experience.

Home Office and Technical Requirements

During an initial introductory period, candidates must use personal equipment that meets all technical requirements. After successful completion, company-issued hardware will be provided.

• Operating system: Must run Windows 11 or higher (Apple/Mac products, Chromebooks, and tablets are not compatible with the systems) and have at least 1GB of space.
• Internet connection: A direct, wired Ethernet connection is required. Wi-Fi, cellular hotspots, DSL, satellite, or dial-up connections are strictly prohibited for primary use.
• Internet bandwidth: Minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Audio gear: A wired USB headset with a microphone.
• Display setup: Screen resolution minimum of 1600X900; a dual monitor setup is highly recommended.
