General Counsel (Remote)

Overview

This is a contract position for a General Counsel to work remotely from anywhere. The role involves applying legal expertise to assist in training next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input that shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, evaluating AI-generated suggestions for accuracy, risk identification, and legal soundness.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, offering expert feedback to enhance model performance and output precision.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AI-driven contract review and negotiation processes.
• Provide expert guidance on contract drafting, review, and negotiation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in contract review, negotiation, and drafting, particularly in technology and AI-driven projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess risks related to AI-driven contract review.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing AI-driven contract review and negotiation.
• Proficiency with contract review and negotiation tools and a strong understanding of AI-driven contract review processes.

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $80 - $105 per hour
