Overview
This role is for an Immigration Attorney to work remotely within the U.S., handling individual immigration cases across various visa categories. The position is full-time with a salary range of $130,000 to $250,000, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses. Attorneys at all experience levels—from Associate to Senior—are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage individual immigration cases including O-1, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, H-1B, family-based, and marriage-based petitions.
- Maintain high standards of legal quality, client communication, and timely case management.
- Utilize an automated platform that streamlines workflows, tracks filings against quality benchmarks, and consolidates case information.
- Set your own caseload intensity, balancing volume with quality to maximize income and client satisfaction.
- For senior attorneys: mentor junior colleagues and contribute to practice leadership.
Requirements
- J.D. degree and active U.S. bar admission (or awaiting results for Associates).
- Commitment to strict service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Self-motivation and ownership mindset.
- Excellent communication skills that foster client trust and loyalty.
Preferred Qualifications by Level
- Associate (0–3 years): Interest in immigration law, experience in immigration clinics, paralegal work, or externships is a plus.
- Mid-Level (3–6 years): Experience with employment-based or extraordinary ability petitions and growing comfort with direct client communication.
- Senior (6+ years): Deep expertise in O-1, EB-1A, and/or EB-2 NIW strategies, ability to mentor junior attorneys, and ambition toward practice leadership.
