Overview

An organization focused on improving immigration through advanced technology and legal expertise is seeking an Immigration Attorney. This role involves managing a complex caseload of employment-based immigration matters and delivering high-quality client outcomes. The position requires strong legal judgment and the ability to work closely with legal leadership, operations, and product teams to build scalable legal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full range of employment-based immigration cases including EB-1A/B, EB-2 NIW, O-1A/B, H-1B, L-1, PERM, TN, E-2, and others
  • Serve as attorney of record, drafting precise, persuasive, and client-focused petitions
  • Anticipate and address potential issues proactively to drive cases to resolution
  • Guide clients through complex immigration processes with clarity and strategic advice
  • Communicate clearly and promptly to keep clients informed throughout their cases
  • Handle case escalations from intake through resolution
  • Maintain and improve legal standards across templates, processes, and workflows
  • Identify operational gaps and propose actionable solutions
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to enhance tooling and workflows
  • Participate in new client consultations, assess eligibility, and recommend immigration pathways

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years practicing employment-based immigration law
  • Licensed to practice law with a J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited institution
  • Strong client focus with a commitment to exceptional legal work and service
  • Proactive communication and reliable case ownership, even under high workloads
  • Excellent legal judgment and ability to navigate ambiguous or complex cases
  • Interest in AI-assisted legal workflows and technology-driven quality improvements
  • Desire to contribute to building and improving legal systems

  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $220,000, based on experience
