An organization focused on transforming the legal system, particularly in business immigration, is seeking an experienced Immigration Strategy Attorney. This remote role involves conducting client consultations, evaluating eligibility for extraordinary ability and high-skilled immigration categories, and providing clear legal guidance. Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations with prospective clients, explaining services and processes clearly and confidently.
- Evaluate eligibility for immigration pathways such as EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A, and related categories.
- Communicate complex legal concepts in accessible language to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Assess client information during consultations to classify case strength (strong, moderate, weak, unclear).
- Identify key indicators of high potential cases and common red flags or issues.
- Provide clear recommendations on next steps, including whether to proceed, reposition, or decline cases.
- Make fast, accurate judgment calls and communicate decisions with empathy.
- Document consultation notes and recommendations accurately in internal systems.
- Ensure lead data completeness and maintain organized records.
- Track and flag high-priority or time-sensitive cases.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of legal practice experience with significant exposure to U.S. business immigration.
- Strong knowledge of extraordinary ability and high-skilled immigration categories, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changing government policies and assess their impact.
- Skilled at rapid and accurate assessment of diverse professional profiles.
- Exceptional communication skills: clear, warm, confident, and articulate.
- Strong judgment and triage skills to recommend appropriate next steps.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust with clients.
- Ability to explain complex legal ideas simply.
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a high-volume consultation environment.
- Ability to work independently and professionally represent the organization.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000 to $190,000 annually.
- Fully remote position with flexible work arrangements.
