Overview

A prominent healthcare company is seeking a highly organized litigation paralegal for a full-time, remote contract engagement. This role involves managing a busy litigation inbox, calendaring important dates and deadlines, and electronically filing legal documents. The position offers the potential for a long-term engagement and requires availability for a set 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume litigation inbox efficiently
  • Track and calendar important litigation dates and deadlines
  • Electronically file pleadings and other legal documents
  • Assist the legal team with litigation management tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Experience managing a busy litigation inbox and calendaring for multiple matters
  • Experience with electronic filing of pleadings
  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree; relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, professionalism, and excellent communication skills
  • Experience working remotely as a paralegal is a plus
  • Outstanding professional references

Position Details

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized pay range: $75,000 to $78,000, based on experience and qualifications
