Overview

An opportunity is available for an attorney with at least four years of labor and employment litigation experience to work remotely in a contract engagement role. This position allows for full-time or part-time work from anywhere in the United States, provided the candidate is licensed to practice law in California. The role involves handling labor and employment litigation matters, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court hearings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage labor and employment litigation cases (defense or plaintiff side)
  • Conduct written discovery and prepare motions
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Participate in court hearings
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic legal team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of labor and employment litigation experience
  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Outstanding professional references

Experience with PAGA and/or wage and hour claims is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annualized compensation ranges from $190,000 to $205,000 (full-time equivalent), based on experience, qualifications, and location
  • W2 employment status
