Overview
A partner organization is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their Legal and Compliance department in a fully remote capacity. This role involves providing high-quality legal advice to internal stakeholders, developing processes to streamline legal operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The position requires strategic thinking, collaboration, and the ability to drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to various business units across the organization.
- Develop and enhance processes within the Legal and Compliance department.
- Ensure the organization meets all legal obligations and is adequately protected.
- Identify complex legal challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Stay current with data privacy legislation and update policies accordingly.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably gained at a top law firm.
- Strong ability to analyze legal documents and identify potential issues.
- Proven track record of influencing stakeholder decisions.
- Understanding of complex business and technical concepts.
- Experience managing competing business needs with creative solutions.
- Knowledge of privacy or advertising law is advantageous.
