Overview

This role partners with marketing teams to review advertising and promotional materials for legal compliance. You will independently triage and resolve a high volume of incoming tickets—covering new campaigns and landing pages, sweepstakes, comparative advertising, and influencer content—using sound judgment to facilitate efficient attorney review.

In addition to marketing compliance review, you will support process improvement efforts, track queue metrics, and help develop scalable workflows to increase team throughput. Success requires speed with accuracy, clear communication of legal guidance to non-legal partners, and close collaboration with attorneys and fellow analysts to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Independently triage and resolve a high volume of legal compliance requests with appropriate judgment and limited oversight.
  • Review and manage complex requests and take ownership of complex projects and issues.
  • Conduct investigations, prepare summaries, and present findings and risk considerations to attorneys to support legal analysis and decision-making.
  • Drive collaborative problem-solving by proposing alternative solutions and exploring “yes, if” scenarios to pivot from standard “no.”
  • Translate complex legal guidance into clear, actionable direction using structured formatting for diverse audiences.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy while managing complex and ambiguous projects with minimal supervision.
  • Support the development and delivery of comprehensive compliance training programs and educational materials.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to legal workflows, documentation standards, and intake systems to increase team throughput.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific legal operations domains by advising business partners and mentoring peers.
  • Use available resources, including AI tools, effectively and responsibly to streamline work, maintain consistency, and improve efficiency—while reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Navigate LLM interfaces (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for high-volume, repetitive tasks, including prompt engineering and content auditing to maintain output quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or
  • An advanced degree without experience.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to apply past precedents and context to new requests to ensure a unified legal approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills: professional, clear, and adaptable to different audiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively while handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize appropriately when faced with ambiguity.
