Overview
A fast-growing public company is seeking a Counsel to join their Product, Privacy, Intellectual Property, Marketing, and Regulatory Legal Team. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic and practical legal guidance at the core of product development and growth, working closely with product, engineering, marketing, product support, and legal teams. The position supports responsible, user-centric innovation and helps scale compliant, trusted products in a dynamic regulatory environment.
This is a full-time role based in one of the US hubs or remotely within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve legal policies and procedures to manage legal and business risk globally
- Provide practical legal advice on a wide range of issues including regulatory, privacy, marketing, and intellectual property
- Review products, features, and initiatives from early development through launch to assess legal compliance
- Advise cross-functional teams including product, marketing, engineering, data science, research, and product support with appropriate risk assessments
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and legal counsels to develop strategies
Requirements
- J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm and/or in-house
- Proactive work approach with ability to work independently and seek feedback when appropriate
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tailor communication to different audiences
- Experience in one or more of the following legal areas: regulatory, product, and privacy counseling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global privacy legal requirements, especially related to marketing or product privacy counseling
- Experience managing legal risk across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a multi-stakeholder environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $180,000 to $308,000 USD (salary may be adjusted based on location and other factors)

Location
This role can be based in one of the US hub offices or performed remotely within the United States. Salary and benefits may be localized based on work location.
