Overview
A global fintech and blockchain organization is seeking a qualified legal professional to lead regulatory licensing efforts and bridge legal and compliance functions. The role focuses on navigating complex international financial regulations to support the company's global expansion and operational compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage applications for various financial licenses including VASP, MiCA, MSB, and other regional licenses worldwide.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on evolving global cryptocurrency regulations such as those from the SEC, CFTC, FCA, and MAS.
- Collaborate closely with the Compliance team to translate regulatory requirements into operational policies and audit-ready workflows.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience specializing in financial regulation.
- Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency regulatory frameworks, traditional fintech structures, or payment service laws.
- Strong relationship-building skills for effective interaction with regulators.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
- Ability to independently manage complex projects while working collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency use cases.
