Overview
This role involves providing tactical legal advice and support to internal clients within a pharmacy benefit management (PBM) organization. The Legal Counsel will work closely with departments such as PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, and administrative support functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, including PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, and administrative support functions
- Conduct legal research, draft documents, and perform transactional work related to legal matters
- Manage litigation efforts for assigned business areas as needed
- Advise internal clients on compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies
- Develop and facilitate legal training sessions
- Investigate legal issues as necessary
- Provide client training on legal principles
- Coordinate with in-house and outside legal resources when appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Current license to practice law in the state of residence
- Minimum of 5 years practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role
- At least 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients
- Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $124,000.00 - $211,000.00, based on experience and skills
