Overview

This role involves providing tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level, within a pharmacy benefit management (PBM) organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients including PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, administrative support functions, or other assigned areas
  • Perform research, drafting, and transactional work in support of legal matters
  • Manage litigation efforts for assigned business areas as needed
  • Advise internal clients regarding compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies
  • Develop and facilitate legal training and investigate issues as necessary
  • Provide client training on legal principles
  • Coordinate partnerships with in-house and outside legal resources where appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Current license to practice law in state of residence
  • Minimum of 5 years practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role
  • At least 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Compensation & Benefits

  • Potential pay range: $124,000.00 - $211,000.00, based on experience and skills
