Legal Process Server - Tennesee

Overview

This position involves delivering legal documents as a Process Server. Work is flexible, allowing you to choose how much or how little work you take on. Training and tools are provided, including a mobile app for claiming jobs, mapping stops, and tracking pay.

The role supports clients that include banks and law firms, operating under the courts and the rules of civil procedure.

Responsibilities

• Claim assigned legal document delivery jobs through the mobile app
• Plan routes and efficiently navigate service areas
• Deliver documents during times when people are likely to be home
• Maintain an organized, independent work style while serving documents
• Interact with recipients in a pleasant, personable, and professional manner
• Scan and print documents as required for service
• Track job progress and pay within the app
• Attend to job attempt timing (attempts required every 48 hours, with varied times)

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Tech savvy: iPhone/iPad or Android smart device and ability to work within a mobile app
• Ability to scan and print documents
• Ability to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Legally allowed to work in the United States, without work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process serving or related work (helpful, but not required)

• Some states require you to be a Registered Process Server
• State laws vary, including minimum age requirements to serve
• Serving opportunities are available nationwide, across all 50 states
