Overview
This remote, part-time contractor role involves providing expert legal review and structured feedback for AI training work. The work focuses on litigation and transactional documents, including simulated legal scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze complex litigation and transactional documents.
- Assess contracts related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and capital markets.
- Draft representative agreements and clauses based on high-value transaction and private equity experience.
- Evaluate simulated legal scenarios and provide structured commentary for AI model development.
- Develop or apply legal frameworks and decision rubrics to support consistent review.
- Provide legal insight to interdisciplinary collaborators.
- Help ensure accuracy in simulated legal tasks.
- Participate in iterative feedback cycles that refine training data for legal precision and practical use.
Requirements
- JD from a US law school.
- Active US bar admission in good standing.
- Experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly prestigious law firm.
- Strong background in litigation and complex transactional matters.
- Expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy.
- Excellent written communication, legal research, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote, multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or applying structured review rubrics (helpful but not required).
- Experience creating structured evaluation frameworks.
- Ability to translate nuanced legal judgment into clear, repeatable feedback.
- Comfort reviewing simulated legal scenarios alongside interdisciplinary collaborators.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $140-$400 per hour.
- Workload: 20+ hours per week.
