Overview
A law firm is seeking a mid to senior level Trial Attorney with over 5 years of experience to join its Litigation Business Unit in Southern California. The attorney will focus exclusively on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related actions. While the location is flexible, candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
Responsibilities
- Handle trial and arbitration proceedings including opening statements, closing arguments, witness examination, motion practice, depositions, and mediations
- Advocate effectively on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Negotiate settlements and other agreements
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of trial experience
- Extensive experience in trial and arbitration settings
- Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
Warranty experience is not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $170,000 - $200,000 annually (full-time basis)
