Overview

A rapidly growing personal injury law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The firm handles complex cases with a small docket to provide focused client service. The organization values innovation, uses advanced technology, and operates with a start-up mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and calendar filing deadlines, depositions, mediations, and hearings
  • Prepare discovery responses
  • Summarize medical records and deposition transcripts
  • Draft correspondence
  • Prepare exhibit binders and trial notebooks
  • Perform e-filing
  • Update case management system
  • Submit payment requests for case invoices
  • Communicate with courts, clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
  • Collaborate with pre-litigation paralegals to ensure timely client follow-up

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate required
  • Minimum 1 year of litigation experience
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Logical thinking and strong attention to detail
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Dedication and willingness to assist with various tasks

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $28 - $36, depending on experience
  • Paid time off: 20 days plus 10 paid holidays
