Overview

A national law firm with offices in all 50 states is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its Irvine office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of litigation-focused paralegal experience, preferably within a large law firm environment.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree and/or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
  • Experience in litigation support and case management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience drafting and organizing discovery materials, including written discovery and document production.
  • Experience preparing for and assisting at trial.
  • Familiarity with California State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Proficiency with litigation support software such as Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable tools.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and other professional staff.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, conducting factual and legal research, reviewing and analyzing documents, and supporting preparations for hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Review, gather, and organize client documents from production through discovery.
  • Research, organize, and summarize records to assist in data gathering, including managing information and documents in databases.
  • Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses.
  • Support trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses and vendor requests, and providing live trial support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $45,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, skills, training, and location.
