Overview
This role supports a personal injury litigation caseload across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The employer is seeking a Full-Time Litigation Paralegal with at least 8 years of litigation experience in personal injury.
Responsibilities
- Draft complaints and initial discovery
- Forward complaints to process servers and monitor service of process
- Draft discovery responses
- Calendar and notice depositions and leaves of absence
- Draft and file standard motions and motion responses
- Calendar litigation timelines
- Conduct status update calls with clients and complete client update calls
- Send and follow up on non-party discovery requests
- Assist in trial preparation
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of verified personal injury litigation experience
- Forwarding complaints to process servers and monitoring service of process
- Strong ability to draft and manage litigation paperwork, including motions and discovery responses
- Fast typing skills (fully digital firm)
- Outgoing, energetic, self-starter with excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas practice
- PACFile e-filing experience
- Experience with Philadelphia Complex Litigation Center
