Overview
This role is for an experienced Employment Litigation Paralegal who can take ownership, move cases forward in a fully remote environment, and collaborate closely with attorneys. The position is not a legal secretary role.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys across active caseloads in a fully remote, fast-moving environment
- Draft and prepare motions, mediation briefs, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
- Manage deadlines, coordinate filings, and keep cases moving forward with precision
- Organize and maintain case files, records, and client communications in cloud-based systems
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Apply a project-manager mindset to juggle multiple cases without missing key details
Requirements
- 5+ years of California employment litigation experience
- Demonstrated ability to draft motions, mediation briefs, discovery, and related litigation documents
- Strong deadline discipline and project-manager mentality
- Highly self-directed with the ability to operate with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate
- Prior remote-work experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, plus benefits
