Overview
A litigation paralegal position is available to support high-stakes employment law cases focused on discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. This role involves driving case momentum through document preparation, strategic case development, and proactive problem-solving. Training on employment law will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests, and mediation statements with accuracy.
- Develop fact chronologies, deposition summaries, and witness profiles to support case strategy.
- Conduct targeted legal research using Westlaw or Lexis and provide clear summaries.
- Lead fact-gathering client calls with empathy while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Identify and escalate case delays or gaps to ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize HubSpot, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 to track case progress and maintain records.
What You Will Not Do
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing or scheduling.
- Provide legal advice or case valuations to clients.
- Wait for direction to identify and resolve case bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation; plaintiff-side employment law experience is a plus but not required.
- Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail in legal drafting with zero tolerance for errors.
- Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues independently.
- Strong communication skills with empathy for clients and clarity for team members.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and case management systems; experience with HubSpot is a bonus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $30.00–$35.00, based on experience.

Work Schedule & Location
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional flexibility.
