Overview
A legal technology organization is seeking a Litigation Specialist to contribute to the development of advanced AI models in the legal field. This contract role involves leveraging substantial litigation experience to evaluate and improve AI reasoning through realistic legal scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Challenge AI models with complex legal situations involving trial advocacy, motion practice, appellate strategy, evidence handling, procedural analysis, and judicial decision-making.
- Engage in substantive legal dialogue with AI models and assess their responses for factual accuracy and analytical rigor.
- Identify reproducible failure points and document performance gaps to enhance model reasoning.
- Collaborate with the team to refine prompts and improve evaluation metrics.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active law license.
- Significant litigation experience in trial, appellate, or complex dispute resolution.
- Strong ability to articulate legal reasoning clearly and precisely.
Preferred Qualifications
- History of legal publication.
- Prior judicial clerkships.
- Teaching experience.

Compensation & Benefits
