Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) attorney to contribute expertise toward the development of advanced AI tools focused on financial analysis, legal reasoning, and strategic decision-making in transactions. This role involves leveraging deep M&A knowledge to help train AI models that support business intelligence and streamline deal processes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with AI systems on financial modeling, regulatory compliance, negotiation strategy, transaction documentation, and corporate governance.
  • Review and assess AI-generated content related to M&A scenarios.
  • Evaluate the accuracy, logic, and practical applicability of financial and legal reasoning produced by AI.
  • Identify performance gaps and document areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the team to refine prompts, frameworks, and evaluation criteria for AI training.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • Deep expertise in M&A deal structuring, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.
  • Solid understanding of legal and financial frameworks governing transactions.
  • Law degree (JD or equivalent) is required.
  • Strong analytical communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex deal concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience evaluating or working with AI-generated content is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay rate up to $200 per hour, with the exact rate determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location.
  • Contract position; contractor must provide a secure computer and high-speed internet.
