Overview
A national eDiscovery service provider is seeking attorneys residing in Nevada who hold an active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction. This role involves document review for complex litigation matters using electronic review platforms to code documents for relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege. The position is project-based and temporary.
Responsibilities
- Review and code documents for responsiveness, relevancy, confidentiality, and privilege using electronic review platforms
- Participate in quality control processes
- Prepare privilege and redaction logs as needed
- Adhere to project guidelines and deadlines
Requirements
- Must reside and work from the state of Nevada
- Active license to practice law in good standing with at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Experience with electronic document review platforms such as Nebula and Relativity preferred
- Experience reviewing and coding documents in complex litigation preferred
- Experience with quality control and preparation of privilege/redaction logs desired
- Secure home office with high-speed internet
- Computer running Windows 11 or Mac OS Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15), Tahoe (26), or newer
- Phone or tablet with Apple OS version 17 or later, or Android OS version 12 or later
- Proficiency with modern technology and remote work equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex instructions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Position Details
- Remote work-from-home opportunity
- Pay rate: $25 per hour
- Project duration varies from 1 week to 6 months, possibly longer
- Flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week between 7 AM and 7 PM Monday through Thursday, and 7 AM to 5 PM Friday
- Overtime may be available depending on project demands
