Overview
This position supports attorneys and paralegals by managing legal data and case organization. The role may be filled remotely, through the organization’s virtual office, or in any of its office locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with managing data and case organization.
- Manage, organize, store, and analyze incoming data in accordance with agreed-upon security standards.
- Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- Maintain the database.
- Communicate with team members about data changes and requirements.
- Download and save documents into NetDocs.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- Maintain familiarity with adopting legal AI and the ability to learn and implement new AI solutions (preferred).

Position-Specific Requirements
- Two years litigation experience mandatory.
- Asbestos experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience with electronic court filings.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and manage time.
Compensation & Benefits
Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. Exact compensation varies based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
Expected compensation ranges by location:
- State of California: $47,000 - $96,000
- State of Colorado: $43,000 - $77,000
- State of Connecticut: $37,000 - $94,000
- State of Illinois: $42,000 - $82,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $51,000 - $92,000
- State of Maine: $32,000 - $73,000
- State of Maryland: $45,000 - $69,000
- State of Massachusetts: $47,000 - $90,000
- State of Minnesota: $47,000 - $77,000
- State of New York: $44,000 - $94,000
- State of Virginia: $30,000 - $89,000
- State of Vermont: $46,000 - $89,000

- Washington, DC: $60,000 - $89,000
Salaries do not include a discretionary bonus. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and depend on individual and firm performance.
