Overview
This position supports attorneys and paralegals by managing data and assisting with case organization. The role may be filled remotely, through a virtual office, or at any office location.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with managing data and case organization.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage, organize, store, and analyze incoming data efficiently while upholding agreed-upon security standards.
- Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- Maintain databases.
- Communicate with team members about data changes and requirements.
- Download and save documents into NetDocs.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrate familiarity with adopting legal AI and the ability to learn and implement new AI (preferred).
- Meet a billable requirement of 1000 hours.

Position-Specific Requirements
- Two years litigation experience mandatory.
- Asbestos experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with electronic court filings.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and manage time.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is commensurate with skill and experience. Exact compensation varies by skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. Expected compensation ranges by location:
- State of California: $47,000 - $96,000
- State of Colorado: $43,000 - $77,000
- State of Connecticut: $37,000 - $94,000
- State of Illinois: $42,000 - $82,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $51,000 - $92,000
- State of Maine: $32,000 - $73,000
- State of Maryland: $45,000 - $69,000
- State of Massachusetts: $47,000 - $90,000
- State of Minnesota: $47,000 - $77,000
- State of New York: $44,000 - $94,000
- State of Virginia: $30,000 - $89,000
- State of Vermont: $46,000 - $89,000
- State of Washington: $45,000 - $86,000
- Washington, DC: $60,000 - $89,000
The salary ranges above do not include a discretionary bonus. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and depend on individual and firm performance.
