Overview
This role supports attorneys and paralegals by managing data and maintaining organized case materials. The position may be filled remotely, through a virtual office, or in any of the organization’s office locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with data management and case organization.
- Manage, organize, store, and analyze incoming data while upholding agreed-upon security standards.
- Review data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- Maintain the database.
- Communicate with team members about data changes and requirements.
- Download and save documents into NetDocs.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- Familiarity and experience adopting legal AI and ability to learn and implement new AI are preferred.
- Meet a billable requirement of 1000 hours.
Requirements
- Two years litigation experience (mandatory).
- Ability to deliver superior service to internal and external customers and communicate effectively.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and employees at all times; professional appearance required.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing business demands.
- Ability to produce an acceptable amount of work efficiently and accurately, with quality final work product.

- High level of professional integrity; ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust.
- Ability to lead and motivate the work of others; when applicable, ability to manage direct report(s), including performance evaluation, goal-setting, employee development, and problem-solving.
Position-Specific Requirements
- Asbestos experience (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with electronic court filings.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and manage time.
Compensation & Benefits
Employees receive compensation commensurate with skills and experience. The exact compensation varies based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.

- State of California: $47,000 - $96,000
- State of Colorado: $43,000 - $77,000
- State of Connecticut: $37,000 - $94,000
- State of Illinois: $42,000 - $82,000
- Jersey City, NJ: $51,000 - $92,000
- State of Maine: $32,000 - $73,000
- State of Maryland: $45,000 - $69,000
- State of Massachusetts: $47,000 - $90,000
- State of Minnesota: $47,000 - $77,000
- State of New York: $44,000 - $94,000
- State of Virginia: $30,000 - $89,000

The listed salaries do not include a discretionary bonus. Bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed and dependent upon individual and firm performance.
