Overview
A global consulting firm specializing in strategic advisory, project management, and dispute resolution is seeking a Paralegal to support its legal team. This role involves managing a variety of legal and operational tasks including conflict identification, dispute resolution, contract support, and general legal administration. The position reports to in-house counsel and requires a high degree of autonomy in managing legal workflows and risk.
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordination and response to subpoenas, document requests, and other third-party demands.
- Manage document collection, review, and production processes related to litigation.
- Use systems such as Intapp and Salesforce to review new engagements for potential legal conflicts or risks.
- Independently triage and resolve routine and mid-level conflicts; escalate complex or high-risk issues to attorneys.
- Collaborate with business teams to resolve project-related disputes in a practical, business-oriented manner.
- Track and manage pre-litigation disputes, claims, and client conflicts throughout project lifecycles.
- Gather and analyze contracts, scopes, correspondence, and reports to assess exposure and support resolution strategies.
- Maintain organized matter files and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
- Assist with preparation, review, and basic revision of contracts, amendments, NDAs, and other standard legal documents.
- Coordinate execution and maintenance of legal agreements and ensure proper recordkeeping.
- Identify recurring conflict drivers and recommend improvements to intake, project management, and dispute avoidance processes.
- Support development and refinement of internal playbooks, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in developing and delivering training to project managers and business teams on dispute avoidance and issue escalation.
- Coordinate with external counsel on active disputes and litigation matters, including document sharing and updates (excluding billing/invoice management).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
- Minimum of 8 years of paralegal experience, with a strong preference for litigation background including subpoenas, discovery, and disputes.
- Experience in mid-sized to large law firms or consulting firms preferred.
- Familiarity with conflict-checking and matter management systems such as Intapp and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk from incomplete or evolving information.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with non-legal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Salary Ranges by Geographical Tier
- Tier AA (e.g., NY Metro, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle): $109,000 - $299,000 USD annually
- Tier A (e.g., Irvine CA, Middlesex NJ, Tacoma WA, Boston, Alexandria): $101,000 - $276,000 USD annually
- Tier B (e.g., Baltimore, Chicago, Anchorage, Portland): $92,000 - $253,000 USD annually
- Tier C (e.g., Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Miami): $84,000 - $230,000 USD annually
- Tier D (e.g., Mississippi, Mobile AL, Bowling Green KY, Tulsa): $80,000 - $219,000 USD annually
