Overview
An immediate opening is available for a Paralegal in the Louisville, Kentucky office.
This is a full-time role with flexible options for successful candidates, including hybrid opportunities. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience with Insurance Defense Litigation and familiarity with State and Federal rules of civil procedure.
Responsibilities
- Work independently on pleadings
- Assist with medical records request and review
- Prepare and maintain medical chronologies
- Draft deposition summaries
- Support document review
- Help with case management and file organization
- Assist with investigations
- Conduct legal research
- Support e-discovery
- Provide trial support
Requirements
- Ability to work independently across pleadings, medical records request and review, medical chronologies, deposition summaries, document review, case management, file organization, investigations, research, e-discovery, and trial support
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency with document management software (iManage and Relativity preferred)
- Electronic filing experience (including CM/ECF)
- Calendaring software proficiency preferred
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills essential
- Paralegal certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus
